Marko Komssi

Senior Scientist at VTT, specializing in AI-driven strategic foresight and corporate strategy
He advises leadership and AI teams on AI research topics and investments for companies driving innovation with AI. Marko has received best speaker recognition both nationally and internationally, as well as three international research awards for his publications. Marko’s expertise in artificial intelligence began in 1997 at Lingsoft, where he was part of the team that developed spell checkers for Danish and Norwegian languages for Microsoft. He has extensive experience in globally oriented software business, particularly in cyber-security software, and was a core member of the Artificial Intelligence Center of Excellence at F-Secure and WithSecure.

Natalia Illarionova

Founder of Albimarketing Oy | Research Lead at Bridgium
Natalia is working at the intersection of research, business, and technology. She has over 20 years of experience in global technology and B2B projects, including partner incentive and engagement programs, loyalty program development, sales enablement, and employee recognition initiatives for Canon, Panasonic, LG, HP, Roche, and other leading organisations. Natalia holds an MA in Sociology. Her research focuses on the future of work and how people adopt, resist, and normalise change in practice. She uses qualitative methods to analyse narratives and understand how people make sense of uncertainty and transformation in everyday work. At Bridgium, Natalia leads research on how innovation moves within organisations. Her current work focuses on innovation and transformation flow diagnostics, and the development of tech solutions for tracking human behavioural signals at work, revealing how people learn, support peers, collaborate, and adopt new practices.

Long history on publicly funded programs, mainly on financial services, current role is to ensure efficient, compliant, and harmonised ways of working that improve quality, reduce risk, and enable reliable delivery of patient‑centric digital services.

Iftikhar Ahmad (PhD)

Head of R&D Central Function, Innovation partnerships at Tieto Group
Senior technology leader with 25+ years spanning Nokia Mobile Phone, Tampere University and Tieto. Currently Head of R&D Central Function at Tieto, leading the digital & AI agenda including GenAI/LLM deployment, data quality, governance, and AI-enabled workflows. Proven track record translating large AI investment into business impact across complex, cross-functional, matrixed organizations. PhD from Tampere University in content-based information retrieval. My professional interests focus on energy efficient, trustworthy artificial intelligence for edge and cloud environments using AIOps. Currently, my work concentrates on generative artificial intelligence (GenAI) and visual large language models, deployed both in cloud environments and locally. In GenAI my focus areas include prompt engineering, context engineering (retrieval augmented generation (graph-RAG)), and intent engineering for real-world applications.
